Attraction Information

Chapmans Peak Drive

Built between 1915 - 1922 using convict labour, this road linking Hout Bay and Noordhoek is an engineering marvel of that time period.

Boulders Beach Penguins

Home to the African Penguin, this nature reserve used to be a public beach before it was made into a protected reserve in 1982 for just two breeding pairs. Today there are more than 3000 birds on this reserve.

Cape of Good Hope

Many times the misconception is that the Cape of Good Hope is the dividing point of the two oceans. This however, is incorrect; the waters are known to mix from Cape Agulhas all the way to Cape Point.
